APPEARANCE
Gorgeous glowing dark yellow/light orange color with a murky body and a fluffy two fingers-worth of dense, foamy head
AROMA
A bouquet of ripe peach, oranges, pineapples, lemon, white grapes, and a superb hop bitterness. Just give me a minute, I need to sit down.
TASTE
Dude. Sabro hops. That's all I really need to say. I'm fixing to go down to O'Malley's and plan my escape with this one. The first thing I noticed was a distinct coconut flavor followed by more of the overload of citrus and tropical fruits I got from the aroma. Behind that is a delectable bitterness and hop presence that brings balance to the sweet citrus and coconut. It's a dank pina colada and I am here for the ride.
MOUTHFEEL
Full, fluffy, and easy to drink. The 10.1% is non-existent and makes for insane drinkability. You might kill your 4-pack in one sitting......but I do not recommend it.
OVERALL
Vitamin Sea has a murderer's row of hoppy offerings, but I do not exaggerate when I say their Triple IPAs are probably the best out of anyone in the state. They have other 10%+ IPA's in their lineup, but when talking about 33, this one I think is their best hoppy offering. Insane drinkability coupled with a ludicrously delicious hop profile makes for Vitamin Sea's best beer period....and you can quote me on that. Larry Legend would be proud.
