A bit surprised that Vitamin Sea was selling this from the brewery at a full two months old. Based on this I'd guess limited distribution in the Boston area is just around the corner

Sweet tropical hoppy, slightly malty, and subdued citrus nose on this one! Taste follows with a subdued tropical hoppy finish...some nuttiness shows up as it warms. This has decent depth and feel...it's just a tad thin for my palate. Pretty good!

The can labels this as a DIPA. It has all the markings of a New England IPA, dirty water yellowish orange. The nose is really good, maybe a touch of apricot, hard to pin down. You can tell this will be pretty hop forward. I think the body is a bit thin for an 8% ABV but the good news is that it isn't boozy. The beer has a slightly sharp hop bite and what's missing is a hop character to pin this one down. I'm not getting enough pine, or appricot, or orange, or really anything to pin it down in one direction. It isn't bad beer, it's actually good, but there is a distinctiveness that's lacking. It is refreshing, again, a bit of a sharpness on the back end, a good NEIPA in look and feel. I wish that had slightly more character.
