Our latest version of our easy drinkin' session IPA makes it's return for the first time with Strata hops. This beer has notes of red berry and passion fruit.

Good head production, but mediocre retention. Slightly murky and hazy.
Wonderfully juicy aroma, with an emphasis on melon, mango, and pineapple, along with some fresh herbs. Smells like a low-ABV IIPA, somehow.
Flavor follows, absolutely bursting with hops so far beyond the low ABV. Session IPAs are normally nothing more than hoppy seltzer water; this somehow comes across, as completely full flavored. Tropical fruit notes lead the way: coconut, melon, pineapple, and a bit of mango. Slightly herbal. Sufficient malt base to provide a balancing sweetness.
This is wizardry. Such a strong flavor base at such a low ABV? I've never had a beer like this.

It would be helpful to have the specific variety printed on the can for those of us still learning- I could tell it wasn’t citra or galaxy so I think it is this one- Strata.
Any way, it was a very pleasant East Coast IPA, appearance, aroma, taste all in line with the genre, but that they did it at 4.2 ABV is pretty good. I’d certainly recommend this.
