APPEARANCE
Completely pitch black in color. A vigorous pour still produced no head.
AROMA
Lots of chocolate and graham cracker crust. Hints of marshmallow goodness are decadent without being overly sweet.
TASTE
Surprisingly, strawberry is the dominant flavor on the taste. It actually works well with the chocolate notes from the base Imperial Stout. Small hints of marshmallow similar to the aroma pop up now and then. Subtle peanut shell/peanut dust flavors also ebb and flow. Bananas are also a nice accent without being overpowering.
MOUTHFEEL
Thick and soft. Maybe a slight touch of booze on each sip, but I can handle it.
OVERALL
Mostly a chocolate-covered strawberry masquerading as an Imperial Stout, but the array of ingredients work together long enough without wearing out their welcome.
