3-month-old can poured into a stemless wine glass. Would be damn curious to know how big and bright this one was fresh given the pungent nose even after 90 days.

Quintessential hazy look. Gorgeous deep orange-gold coloring. Pillowy soft looking with full opaque haziness but no turbidity. Big head of bright white foam on the pour, settling down to a nice latte cap. Moderate lacing.

Nose is big and bold with wonderful weedy dankness up front and then a huge blast of sweet orange/tangerine that comes over the top. The combination is really wonderful. Some spicy pine, background tropical fruits like mango and guava, and then a twang of green onion late. The layers and combination of aromas evolve with each swirl of the glass, which I'm really loving. Exceptional nose in general, but especially for a 3-month-old IPA.

Taste brings similar notes but isn't as harmonious or unique as the aroma profile. Here the dankness is much more dominant, there's a little starchy green bite that steals some points, and the fruit notes are more overripe. But there's still some enjoyable complexity to it, a nice bitter pith at the finish, and the citrus juice notes are lovely.

Silky smooth and velvety (as all quality hazies are) but this one has a nice coating element to it -- not sticky or chewy, but still bathes the teeth and tongue in a way that lingers. Drinks easy.

If the taste profile was a little more in line with the stellar nose, this one would be an all-timer. And perhaps the age is showing in that gap -- would love to try a fresh can or pour in the future. But I still really enjoyed it, overall, and I'll be looking forward to trying every Vitamin Sea hazy I can get my hands on based on that amazing nose.

Pours a hazy orange color with a creamy white head that provides splotchy lacing. Beautiful hazy. The nose is dank and citrusy, with ripe tangerine notes, passion fruit, mango, and a bit of melon and some pear.

The taste is led by the tangerine and especially the passion fruit flavors and is very dank, with mango, melon and pear flavors following and sweet oats at the back of the palate. Delicious stuff.

The mouthfeel is medium and pillowy , on point for the style. Vitamin Sea flies under the radar a bit vs the “big boy” hazy breweries in the area, which is a shame, because they do some really cool stuff. IMHO.
