A perfect beer for the winter, this robust American porter is brewed with Maris Otter, brown, chocolate, black, and crystal malt, and fermented with American ale yeast. It is hopped with English Kent Golding hops at the beginning of the boil, but in the last 10 minutes of the boil we added 1 pound of spruce tips from brewer Dan’s backyard.
