Hazy yellow, white foam.

Lemon.

Lemon, no bite or spice like I expect from Vic Secret. Citra’s not orange, tangerine, seems more Strata heavy.

Tad chalky, fairly clean though.

Triple your pleasure, triple your fun, Celestial Beerworks is bringing three times the flavor with the hop trio of Strata, Citra and Vic Secret for a star studded cast of flavors.

Triple Stars has the senses star struck with its radiant citrus, fine herb and tropical nuanced scent that rolls from a light creamy froth and a hazy golden body. Full flavored but less hoppy, the early palate is chocked full of cereal grains, creamy wheat and notions of light honey, shortcake and starch.

But the hops cannot be held down for long. They come charging on the middle palate with the radiance of branch ripe tangerine, pink grapefruit and lemon. Nearly tangy from the fruity hop display, the character of hops extend into passionfruit, pineapple, under ripened mango, peach and berry flavors before developing a moderate level of bitterness that take on green tea, verbena, lemongrass and pepper pine proportions.

Full bodied and finishing malty-dry, the alcohol flavors are nearly vodka-like with a warm finish and a long afterglow of citrus peel, grasses and herb.

I understand why folks get jaded with NEIPAs. There's too damn many, and not all of them can be great. This beer wanted to be Nicole Eggert circa 1992; instead it's Nicole Eggert in 2020. Sorry, babe. Anyhow, medium to full on haze in the glass, about a finger's worth of custard-white foam, and sparse, wispy lacing. Aromas of pineapple, passion fruit, pine needles, orange peel, and a faint dank grassy quality. Taste follows with additional berry-like notes and muted grapefruit. The feel is too thin for my taste, not fully coating, and falls off a bit quickly. Meh...
