Imperial Stout with Caramel, Lactose, and Dark Chocolate.
Slowly forming almost nitro style of head accumulation - ends up with a 2 finger mocha colored head with excellent retention. Pitch black Imperial Stout. Good looking stout.
Aroma is chocolate, nutty, and dark fruit.
Bitter chocolate, vanilla, molasses, brown sugar (or burnt sugar...caramel).
Smooth and velvety mouthfeel. Low to medium carbonation. Bittersweet, roasty, long, sweet finish.
Good to very good depending on your affinity for pastry stouts.
