Excellent head production; good retention and lacing. Snow-white head breaks down into huge, uneven bubbles as it collapses. Body is crystal clear and transparent despite a slight chill haze.
Pilsner malt is prominent on the aroma, along with noble hop expression. Lemon, earth, pepper, light honey, hay, grass.
Crisp and utterly crushable on the palate. A touch oily. Very, very bright, with a nice, prominent but not overpowering bitterness; this is still a pils, not an IPL.
Tasting notes include light honey, cracker, lemon, grapefruit. It's not the world's most complex pilsner (of any sub-style), but damn if it isn't crushing and refreshing. No off flavors.
