Beach Bird is our first of two collaborations with the talented, creative Horus Aged Ales. It's an ultra thiol-forward hazy double IPA with Galaxy, Idaho 7 and Phantasm . We used TexMalt llano pilsner malt with a touch of malted wheat and flaked wheat. This malt base gives the Beach Bird a soft, creamy mouthfeel that balances out the super fruit punch notes of the beer.

The hop-and-phantasm combination is expressing itself really boldly. There is a ton of pineapple and peach on the aroma. The flavors are PACKED with notes of tropical punch, white grape, sticky fruit cup juice, juiced overripe pineapples and a little sweet passionfruit earthiness.

Drinking this haze makes you feel like you’re really on the beach. Sunny. Soft. Tropical. There’s an unapologetically tangy, dank, lightly bitter bite on the end, followed by gummy fruit roll up aftertaste. It tastes like we poured fruit juice into the tanks. It’s amazingly hop-saturated. Wild. Seriously.
