This is an ultra refreshing 8.5% West Coast IIPA crusher! It is hopped with Comet, Azacca & Amarillo Hops, & Strata Hop Terpenes. We are pumped at how the terpenes are expressing themselves. Terpenes are essentially the compounds in hops that give the plant its aroma and flavor, making them essential to any hop-forward beer. These ones are from Strata hops so they impart extra dank, cantaloupe, grapefruit aromas. They blend really well with the other hops giving some Cold or Hazy IPA qualities.
The beer has that piney backbone, as you’d expect from a West Coast, but not overwhelmingly bitter at all. It’s subtly sweet and has gentle honey and lemongrass notes. It’s a well-rounded and balanced blend of citrus peel, juices melon and light pine.
