Four Eyez is an imperial stout aged in a 1792 Full Proof Single Barrel Bourbon for 22 lovely months.
We then adjuncted the sticky, divine, warm beer with decadent dark chocolate sauce from Oak Cliff’s CoCoAndre , chocolate roast coffee from LDU Coffee , some Indonesian vanilla, and tons of candied pecans.
The beer is INTOXICATING! (Literally… as it’s coming in at 14.5% - but also in the overloaded sensory way.) It’s SO fudgy, so chocolatey, so smooth and complex. We get heavy chocolate and sweet vanilla on the nose. The coffee beans are most present in the flavor in almost a dark chocolate covered espresso bean kind of way. Ribbons of cocoa flavor and sugar encrusted pecans are on the back end.
