This settles out to a slightly hazy golden color with a substantial cm & half head. Fine aroma of grassy, pine-resin hops, very detectable when you live the glass to drink. Bracingly dry to drink, with a lot of very grassy flavor. No tropical fruits here: This is an IPA like was popular in the early 2000s! And just the way I like it. A touch of sweet malt, and then a lingering dry finish. Body is light enough that it's quite drinkable, even quaffable despite the strength.
This is the finest IPA I've had in months, and brewed here in Dallas. I'll be on the lookout for other beers from this brewer!
