I had a 0.25l glass of this (€3.50) on 02OCT12 at In de Wildeman in Amsterdam.
A small tulip was filled with a deep, dark chestnut bier. It was almost opaque, had a creamy, thin, tan head, and had excellent lacing. Nose was quite mild, with some malty sweetness evident but little else. Very smooth and creamy on the tongue, with a medium body.
Had a nice, mild sweetness, with a bit of caramel being tasty. A hint of dark fruit was present, and some floral hops appeared near the finish. A decent bock, but lacking anything resembling complexity. Prosit!
