Walking through Zuid-Limburg I was for the third time positively surprised by the Lindeboom brewery (Neer).
This witbier is being served in a subtile copy of Hoegaarden's classic glass. The difference is that is square (in the hand).
The comparison with Hoegaarden comes also up tasting the beer. The looks are fantastic. Ideal. The smell is subtile, but tells already something of the greatness you will taste.
The taste....maybe the best witbier in The Netherlands. Spicy, orange, tiny pear? Real citrus/lemon, with a nice finish, leaving a tiny sour/lemon on the tongue. Refreshing and inviting for more! Alcohol just great.
Where can I buy this one in Brabant or Belgium? We want more!
