Poured into a grip shaped goblet - color is straw, transparent, nice frothy white/off white head with mixed bubbles, presents 2 fingers thick and lingers well with some lacing on the glass - impressive for a session ipa.
Smell is slightly catty upfront, then light malt, very light with some toast and biscuit, then some herbal notes, citrus rind; again unique session ipa setup.
Taste trends back to session ipa averages with less nuanced malt and hop character, dryer and thinner profile; hops are herbal and citric, malt is limited but biscuit noted.
Mouthfeel is crisp carbonation, moderate sweetness for the substyle, moderate bitterness and drying for the substyle.
Overall a nice looking, pleasant smelling more herbal session ipa with traditional thin, over dry flavor/feel for the substyle.
