Pours a basic brown color with copper edges and a finger of head. The nose is nicely bready with a slight trace of molasses far in the back. The flavor has winter seasonal spices that are a bit overdone; they override almost everything else. On top of it, the finish has a pretty harsh alcohol bite.
This is more disturbing than I thought it would be.

16 ounce can poured into a Duvel tulip glass. Canned 1/5/21.
L---Opaque, dark brown color. Although it was clear when poured into sunlight. Large, soapy, light brown head with great retention and beautiful lacing. A bunch of floating yeast chunks, not that there's anything wrong with that.
S---Vaguely spicy, nothing specific.
T---Cinnamon & other vague winter spices. Not really much else going on.
F---Medium bodied with good carbonation.
O---A functional enough winter warmer, but really not too much going on.

Poured into a narrow pint glass: color is dark brown, head is tan with fine to small bubbles, head presents almost 2 fingers thick and then lingers well with frothy solid top and lacing on the glass.
Smell is cinnamon, ginger, hint of all spice, limited but noted caramel malt.
Taste is a little harshly spiced, biting, sharp - flavors are all spice, ginger, cinnamon, caramel malt, some toasted and maybe chocolate malt. Harsh spiced flavors detract.
Mouthfeel is low/moderate carbonation, moderate sweetness, sharp biting lingering finish from spice levels.
Overall a nice looking and even somewhat enticing aroma but the flavor mashup of the spices is not that tolerable.
