Poured into a grip shaped goblet: color is straw gold, not really hazy nor close to dense looking, head is bright white fine to small bubbles, head presents 1 finger thick then lingers well with a solid top.
Smell is slight booze, citrus sweetness, then malt, pleasant and biscuity, hops are less pungent and fruity than many/most NEIPAs but still some full grain flavor.
Taste actually barley/grain forward, notes of biscuit, toast, and grain, hops are citric, then some herbs and light pine.
Mouthfeel is low carbonation, moderate sweetness, moderate bitterness, some upfront sharpness that smooths with warmth - more of an IPA feel than an NEIPA feel.
Overall a pleasantly malt hazy/NEIPA: more in the line of an IPA flavor and presence but I'll take it as there is notable oat/wheat flavor just more limited presence and feel.
