Poured into a goblet: color is black, head is tan/light brown, head presents 1 inch thick and lingers well with a solid top, some lacing on the glass sides.
Smell is light roast, some chocolate, some bitter chocolate notes, lactose like sweetness noted.
Taste is light roast, some cocoa, lactose flavor and fullness, light coffee notes, strength is hidden well.
Mouthfeel is moderate carbonation, moderate sweetness, lower bitterness.
Overall a nicely balanced stout - for a milk stout this is not overly sweet with roasted, chocolate, and coffee notes to balance; neutral hop flavors and ABV hidden well.
