This is a traditional West Coast-style IPA with classic West Coast hops and a clean fermenting ale yeast. The grain bill starts with 2-Row, various specialty malts and Dextrine malt to provide some bod, but they let the hops shine. Additions of Simcoe, Chinook and Centennial provide the classic West Coast IPA aromas of pine, citrus and stone fruit. A touch of El Dorado brings out more stone fruit and tropical notes. Cascade Cryo and Mosaic dry-hopping amplifies the grapefruit, pine and tropical notes and also brings aromas of berries and a light dankness.
