It seems as though past reviews are describing this as a hazy IPA, but this 19.2 ounce can says "West Coast Style" IPA, and it definitely drinks as such. Very well at that. No canning date, but I'm certain this is fresh. The place of purchase I frequent often and these just popped up in the stovepipe cooler. Golden beige pour with pleasant head and plenty of floral tropical scents readily available. Flavors are vibrant tropical fruits of papaya, mango, kiwi, with regular citrus fruits plentiful as well. Essential pine is in the mix. It transitions perfectly to a lightly dry and bitter finish while the hop flavors still linger on the palate. Dank and resinous. Checks all the boxes IMO. Very drinkable, very well made. Will be buying the store out of these

Logyard Brewing "Trees Louise"
16 fl. oz. can; freshness ink jet coding is illegible
$19.99/12 pk. Forest Hop variety case @ Javie's Beverage, Phila., PA

Notes via stream of consciousness: A hazy golden body is capped by a short head of white foam. Is this a hazy IPA? Well, it certainly is, but the label just says "IPA". The aroma delivers notes of grainy malt, tropical/citrusy hops, and a bit of pine. On to the taste, the malt is pretty solid which is a nice change of pace given that I've basically been drinking lighter flavored 2-row and oats IPAs lately. This has an almost toasty edge to it. It's sweetish and grainy. The hops bring notes of berries, pine, pineapple... mango... passionfruit... and apricot. It's creamy and sweetish but there's also bitterness to it and it finishes dry with pine lingering once the fruit has faded. It's medium bodied with a delicate carbonation that gently bristles the tongue but then leaves it creamy and smooth. That leaves the head retention on the lower end but that's a fair trade-off for the better mouthfeel. As such the lacing is a little bit limited as well although what I've got left behind is pretty nice. I'm quite happy with this one!

Some bitterness and pine. Easy to drink at 7.5 ABV. This is the best I had from Logyard.

Out of the Spring '23 sampler, this one rose above the rest. Above average NEIPA flavor, not in New England brewery class but pretty good and worth 1+.
