From the squealer (small growler), it pours a clear moderately dark amber with a nice off-white head that slowly reduces as you watch. In the nose, I smell citrus, my friend apple, and a bit of malt. In the mouth, the rye gives it a sharp flavor, not unpleasant, with a solid malt base and a slight aftertaste. Smooth feel.

This is a gator of a beer, very smooth but potent. Outstanding finish.
