Pours a nice dark amber color. 2 finger off white head. Head retention is quite good. The foam is clinging to the side of the glass as it dissipates.
The nose is fairly minimal. I just get a faint malt hint from it, but not much else.
Taste - Well, sadly, like the nose, fairly bland. I'm really getting nothing from it. There's just a slight sweetness, and a slight hop bite. The hop bite does pick up on the backside, but it's minimal.
The body is ok, maybe a bit lighter than it should be.
It started out looking good, but, this beer has been a let down for me.
