Black River Stout

Had this on tap various times when visiting this brewpub.
The appearance was a nice looking dark brown close to black color topped with a bar pour's kind of head. Barely any lace.
The aroma had some dark fruits with smooth rolling oats and dark malts, compatible malted chocolate nibs and a delicate coffee underneath.
The flavor maintained a modest balance of some roasty to sweet malts and dark fruits. Dried aftertaste of rolling oats, some bitterness and roast.
The mouthfeel was almost medium bodied but sat just a touch under. Carbonation felt on par. ABV seemed appropriate. Nice finish of rolled oats, somewhat silky smooth.
Overall, pretty damn nice oatmeal stout I'd definitely have again if I could get it.
