On-tap at Kush, Miami, FL
A: The beer is very hazy amber in color and has lots of swirls of caramel colors - these then blend with each other. It poured with a quarter finger high off white head that left a narrow collar around the edge and some lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of toffee are present in the nose along with hints of pears.
T: The taste has flavors of caramel malts and toffee along with underlying notes of pears and a slight amount of bitterness.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied and a little "chewy" on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This is an interesting beer and seems like a cross between an APA and an Amber Ale.
Serving type: on-tap
