Mount Olympus Brewing

I stopped in at Mount Olympus a few weeks ago while I was visiting Aberdeen for a beer and a bite to eat. The outside is pretty unassuming but inside it’s a very welcoming spot, with a nice bar, friendly bartender, and a modern design with wood accents. On top of that, the brewhouse is visible right there from the taproom, something I personally always like to see.

On my visit, they had 13 beers plus a seltzer on tap; styles included pale ale, hazy DIPA, festbier, WCIPA, ESB, black rye IPA, macadamia nut brown, amber, BA imperial stout, smores porter, kölsch, a cranberry/raspberry fruited beer, and a wheat beer. I was able to buy some singles there so I could try a few more things; overall the beers were pretty decent, although there were a couple exceptions. I had a quesadilla for dinner and it was decent, but the homemade salsa was damn good. Mt. Olympus would definitely be my choice in the Aberdeen-Hoquiam area.
