The head crests at two fingers, very nice retention, bright white with thick, soapy lacing. Pale straw yellow hued liquid, clean and doesn't look washed out. The nose comes across as very spicy at first, almost peppery, then segues to wheat germ, flower petals with a touch of bubblegum and mocha, no distinct fruit smells appear. Medium-bodied, carbonation tends more to foamy than prickly. A bit surprised by how dense and thick it feels as well as the power to the finish. Not a light and easy quaffer. That noted, it can be pretty with that florality and bubblegum going on. Here it is easier to tease out melon to apricot flavors. The graininess closest to cereal or granola, not green nor unprocessed. Not getting any bready nor yeasty notes. Not much change as it warms. Likable, solid beer.
