Taster flight at Sisu - Astoria. Clear, dark amber with a ring of fine foamy head. Aroma is malty and sweet, with a little bit of hops coming through. Taste is malty, caramel, mild bitterness with a mild hoppy kick.

The reason is not that it is a bad beer, it's just that it is too hoppy, in my opinion, for a good Red Ale. I'm not a fan of NW Reds. If I want a hoppy beer there are plenty of high IBU IPAs.
