Very good West Coast style IPA. I had it on tap in a tulip glass at the brewery. Hazy yellow color, small white bubbly head with good retention and some lacing on the glass. Good aroma and flavor. I believe the brewer used Simcoe. Amarillo, Cascade, and Citra hops. Nice mixture of pine, grapefruit and a little floral. Crisp mouthfeel and nicely bitter. It was great to find a nice, hoppy IPA in a little town in Iceland. I had their Chrismas beer too. Very good!

Spadi from Beljandi Brugghus. On tap at brewery. Served at whatever temp the reefer is in a brewery snifter. Reviewed 23/7/21. Note that I use DD/MM/YY protocol.
Appearance – 4.
Body – Straw (SRM 3), cloudy and opaque. When rear-lite, same.
Head – Small (Maximum one cm), white, medium density, short retention, diminishing to a thin ring of bubbles and no cap.
Lacing – Oops! I neglected to write it down.
Aroma – 4 – Begins with strong lemon, no malt, no yeast.
Flavor – 4 – Begins slightly bitter and citrusy. No malt, no yeast. No ethanol (6% ABV, as marked on the tap handle) taste or aroma. No gastric warming. No dimethylsulfide or diacetyl.
Palate – 3.5 – Medium, more watery than creamy, lively carbonation.
Final impression and summation: 3.75 Good!

One of the better American style IPAs I've had in a wonderful little village in Iceland. Very much in the 60IBU range Cascade/Citra/Simcoe style IPA of Bell's 2 hearted and Dogfish 60 Minute.
