32 oz. crowler:
Pours black with a foamy/creamy tan head that thins and lasts. Lacing sticks down the glass.
The smell is of peat earthiness with dark chocolate.
The taste is of peat smoke, dark chocolate. Sweet, but not sticky. Alcohol comes through in a warm, spicy way.
It hits full-bodied(or at least the full-side of medium). Pretty smooth despite noticeable alcohol warmth. Good carbonation level.
An interesting stout. Nice use of peat which adds character to a strong dark stout without dominating. A stout with a character reminiscent of a wee-heavy due to the peat character.
