This is the first brewery to open in my home town, they have been open for about 3 weeks. The building is beautiful, it is located in a refurbed cotton seed processing plant. they totally removed all the tin and replaced it, then divided the building and put the brewery on one side and the taproom on the other. When we went, it was pouring down rain, so everyone was in side, there is a large bar in the back wall, that has glass so you can see the stainless, and there is a smaller bar when you walk in. All beers are $5 a pint, and they currently have a German Pilsner, IPA, APA, Brown Ale and Porter. They have a rotating tap handle, but nothing to fill it yet. The room is a combination of high/low top tables, with the standard brewery steel chairs. There was a large open area for cornhole inside, and assuming the same outside when the weather is better. No food, but there was 2 food trucks/trailers outside and because of the weather, they were coming in to take orders (bonus points there). Really nice space, spent 4 hours there and left because they were shutting down. I see this being a great space as it is within walking distance to the local college. The beer, well I think they could use some tuning. The German Pils, is in my mind, one of the better ones out there. I have to admit I was totally impressed they are cranking out such a great pils right out of the gate. The other beers, could use some tuning. The IPA and APA are pretty much indistinguishable, the porter should be darker, more roast and the brown ale should be lighter, more clarity (in my mind). They are already canning and you can get crowlers, growlers and buy 6 packs on site. I was going to grab a 6 pack of the pils, but when they told me it was $11, I did a hard pass. Not sure if they have put much thought into their pricing
