Went to Metier Brewing yesterday!
They asked how I heard of the joint and I gave the shout out to BA.com.

For a place in an industrial park...it was cool.
We ordered to go only which has a 10% discount!

I ended up tasting three beers.

the Czech Pilsner which is a new beer for them. A very clean taste; mild and totally refreshing. Tasted at the location and then got a freshly canned growler to go...mmmm

also tasted the Ramble On smoked lager which is a collaboration with another local brewery -Bosk. This one was strong and not as Smokey as I would have liked. I did not order the growler to go.

me kiwi only had eyes for the NZ IPA
Made with NZ hops and super mild for an IPA
At only 4.9 abv this IPA is tooooooooo drinkable. Haha. That growler went quick. I can see much more of that in the fridge!

cheers to Metier Brewing! My besty lives nearby and had not heard of it. Now their family will support. And.

I’ll be back!

I visited Métier a couple weeks ago for a couple beers on a lazy afternoon. They've kinda got a dual setup going on -- a big warehousey area with full visibility of the brewhouse and many beer-hall type tables set up. There's a big projector on the wall, and I could see this place hopping on Sunday for a football game or Saturday night with lots of revelers. But, attached to this, is also a small, intimate taproom with something like a dozen seats. Better for a quiet conversation, or maybe reading your book.

It's in this smaller space where the bar is actually located. When I visited, they had 8 beers on tap; overall, the quality of the beer was pretty good. Service was nice and friendly up at the bar, about what you'd expect from a suburban taproom.
