33cl bottle poured into a 'La Chouffe' tulip on 25 Oct 2012 @ home.
True to the Dort look: clear, bright, clean and golden with a full head of white foam. I thought it went down hill from now on!
The nose and taste are fairly sweet with alcohol adding to the strange unbalanced feel the beer gives off. The beer is too sweet and alcoholic for the flavours it has (or more to the point: doesn't have). Bland and far too sweet for a proper Dortmunder.

Bottle of 300 ml at home.
This beer pours a deep golden yellow colour, maybe two tones lighter than of copper.Very thin head, white in colour. Minimal activity in the glass in the form of bubbles. The head disappeared rather quckly.
Obvious aroma of malts.
The taste is sweet, some citrus in there, with a slight bitter aftertaste. The high alcohol is very nicely hidden.
Thick on the body with average carbonation.
Overall, quite good.

A: Almost a finger head, barely any rising carbonation, thinish yellow hue.
S: Very weak in scent, but there's apple.
T: Also apple juice like, but alcohol isn't so apparent like the Lentebock. Grassy aftertaste, mild but medium bodied. Hair of sweetness.
M: Astringent, light carbonation.
O: Ok. it is different than the German versions, but it doesn't all fit together like the Lentebok.

Look: the beer pours an amber-orange color, with a nice fluffy head.
Smell: malts, grains, some sweetness and quite some hops.
Taste: Malts, grains, with some sweetness. Dry crisp hoppy aftertaste. Bit alcoholic too.
Mouthfeel: High-carbonation, medium body.
Overall: Not too much taste here. Bit too high in the alcohol

Pale golden colour with a moderate white head. Clear.
Sweet and malty. A little alcoholic. Mild graininess.
Smooth and sweet with mild grains. Not a lot going on.
Medium body with moderate carbonation. Mildly bitey.
A straightfoward, high alcohol lager with not a lot going on but it isn't badly crafted.

The look on this one is a shiny golden orange with a decent, fine white head and lots of carbonation.
The beer smells very malty and has a somewhat musty tone to it, which accords with a very soft and hardly noticeable hoppy note. There also is a slight off-note in there which I can't give a name. Sweetness is strong and gives a heavy and slight cloying charachter to the nose. It's not a fruity kind of sweetness, but more something in the line of candy or sugar.
The sweet aspect is much more enjoyable in the taste and works well with the dryer and salty side of the malt which rounds off the taste. Again very little hop presence, but still a refreshing taste. Aftertaste is malty and semi-clean. 7.5 ABV makes itself felt clearly.
Mouthfeel is soft and a bit (too) slick, with soft carbonation and a somewhat overweight body.
Not a top-class brew, but still a treat to drink this.

Amber brown, orange with a thin head and very bright.
Smell is slightly malty and there is some sulfur. I just had the Gulpener Dort, which was much more pronounced in smell and taste. It was more malt and more depth.
Taste is sweet and bitter, but not as bitter as the Gulpener. There is a maltiness, but it's not playing the lead role. Some special malts have been used that give the beer a caramel and bready taste. Body is medium and a little too full IMO. The beer feels somewhat sticky on the lips and just doesn't make it to the level of the Gulpener. Nevertheless a decent beer.
