This is going to be my first beer of the Dutch Oud Bruin style.
It pours a clear red-brown body medium amount of coarse bubble, beige fine to medium bubbled head
aroma is chalky or dry wood with some sweetness coming through, darker malts but not roasted
darker malts not roasted, nutty, little bitterness and unfortunately slightly artificial sweetness that is a little balanced by a sour twang.
Body is on the lighter side, nice fine prickling carbonation
Not a bad beer and quite a lot going on for such a low alcohol beer. However, I definitely do not like the sweetness and therefore probably this style is not suited for me. Good to know though

Bottle, 300 ml at home. My 3rd different Oud Bruin for tonight and this one has a two finger light beige head which lowers slowly, leaving no lacing on the glass. The colour is amber but lighter than the ones I had before.
Aroma is of malts, some caramel and some pears maybe. All very faint.
Taste is sweet and fruity with the typical sour aftertaste being there but very discreetly.
Thick on the body and quite carbonated. Leaves the palate dry.

Look: the beer pours dark red-brown color with a nice brown head.
Smell: sweet malts, caramel, nuts.
Taste: Sweet malts, caramel, lots of nuts, and toffee.
Mouthfeel: Medium body, medium carbonation, smooth and sticky.
Overall: Less sweet than most in the style, still too sweet for my liking though
