Antiques on High

Not exactly a hidden gem, but more like hidden in plain sight. Although it is located on S. High St. in Columbus' historic Brewery District, I'd walked by it numerous times without knowing what it was. I'm glad I corrected that oversight. A sister brewery to Columbus' Seventh Son, AOH specializes in wild ales and sours. Intimate atmosphere, quite dark, with upscale modern decor that exudes a swank cocktail-bar vibe. In addition to excellent wild ales and sours, AOH also offers wines, ciders, and craft cocktails. This will be a must-visit whenever I'm in Columbus from now on. Highly recommended.

All wild and sours brewery with their base beers being brewed by Seventh Son. On tap are 7 house beers aged in oak or stainless from 2 months to 14 months. Also 5 taps with guest beers. Well appointed venue with gas fireplace, long raw wood party tables, a couple of comfy leather sofas, bar seating and booth seating. Wine and cocktails are also available.
