to pack this much flavor into a beer thats under 5% abv is impressive, and the freshness is awesome on this little ipa. i was stoked on all the beer in here really, and here is another good one, no fruit, no frills, just a simple and clean grain base, off dry and perfectly clear, with all the hops it needs, citrus forward, not unique on the hop side but very good, a touch of sweetness left from the grain which easily balances the hops because there is no bitterness. subtle hints of things like green tea and lemonade and straw, no doubt this is real fresh, and honestly, for how familiar it seems to me to be, its not at all boring. i get what i perceive to be mosaic, or something like it on the hop side, and its fruity but also clean, oily and refined, west coasty and assertive without being bitter. the kind of session beer thats built for a beer drinker, full flavored and robust as they go. i like it on its own, but i thought it was cool blended in with their blood orange and grapefruit double ipa too, took the edge off. dont miss this place, they are killing it!
