Great beer on tap, good out of the can. Not quite Smithwicks, but a great effort. Huge fan of the Irish Red Ales.

A good effort at an Irish style ale but a much lighted body than would be expected. That resulted in a loss of flavor for me.

On tap at the Lake City FL brewery taproom.
Fine looking, deep red-brown body with high clarity and a decent off-white head.
Clean and well balanced, with a satisfying malt load. Mildly bitter finish.
Medium carbonation in a medium+ body.
Overall: excellent version of this style.
