....had one of these in the Fernie hotel trekking to Vancouver on the #3....I wish this one was more widely available as it gave the best representation of a Munich dunkel we could get in Calgary before the OSB Dark was available. Poured a deep cola color with red highlights. Modest off white cap...Aroma was nearly all caramel malt with light wisps of willamette hops. Medium- light body, wet, smooth mouth feel. Toasty caramel up front, some coffee and walnut tones balanced by the NW nobles finishes faster than Id like with a light malty sweet aftertaste. This beer is still available occasionally in draft form made for specific events and customers who sell the draft under the house name.
