A 12 ounce can purchased at the brewery, poured into a pint glass.
A dark coffee colored pour with a thick dense dark khaki head.
Dark roasted and caramelized barley malt, rich molasses, vanilla, raisin sauce, baker’s chocolate, hints of dark coffee. Medium to full bodied mouthfeel. The 9% ABV fits the beer well.
The enjoyable hops profile help to provide a semidry tangy finish with a pleasant aftertaste.
An outstanding and flavorful Russian Imperial Stout.

Nice, full bodied flavor hits every part of the palate with hints of coffee and dark chocolate. My glass was served ice cold, which I believe masked some of the flavors. If left to sit for a while to warm up, I believe a greater flavor profile could be established.

I tried this at the brewery. It poured an opaque dark with tan head that did not leave much lace. The scent had faint roast and chocolate notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink. The mouthfeel was medium in body with good carbonation. Overall its a solid beer.
