simple but good brown ale here, light and easy drinking, low alcohol, small body, no real yeast character, chocolate forward but not super roasty, a neat slice of the malt spectrum on display, a pretty known entity overall, but no denying a well executed brew. pretty shiny brown tone to this, high tan head on it, looks great from the tap. aroma is only slightly sweet, a little molasses behind the dry cocoa and toasted character, earthy too in an endearing way, not hoppy at all, simple but appealing. the flavor is similar, a graham cracker thing to the malt, baking chocolate, light roast, a mellow coffee note but not super deep, baked dark bread, a little maple richness, medium body, high carbonation which i like here, and a relatively clean ferment. this checks all the boxes for the style, even stands out as especially well done if not wildly original or anything. i feel like these guys are doing a nice job carving out an identity as a quality brewer across a range of styles, pretty diverse beer list in here and i liked all i had. fun spot to visit too, recommended for the beers and the epic view from their patio! everyday brown ale here.

Pours a clear light brown, small but steady head of foam. Smells kinda roasty with fruity malt presence. Taste is a mix of roasted malt, light sweetness, hoppy bitterness. High end of light body, lively carbonation.
