Two 12 oz cans best by date 9/30/23 into a tall Weiss glass.
L: Pours 98% clear medium yellow with a thin white head, steady large carbo bubbles, spotty lacing.
S: Apple, sweet malts, fruit bread, honey, light citrus.
T: Apple, light citrus zest, some yeast, crackery bread, lightly tart, very light honey, a hint of corn. Becomes more malty with warming. Not much aftertaste. It is slightly pale.
F: Brisk medium-light bodied with a fast finish that is quite drying.
O: This is a curious Weiss. It is champagne dry, fruity and crisp. Too dark to be Kristall Weiss and not wild enough to be a Saison. Quite transparent and is only gently expressive. Becomes more bready with a squeeze of lemon. I believe with more R & D this beer will improve. It is good in its style.
