A traditional German Hefeweizen with a very subtle hint of blood orange. The perfect beer for summertime.

On draught at the brewery.
Opaque pale gold, a weak head, no lacing.
Bright toasted malt and fruity esters. Banana and clove/yeast flavors are a somewhat pronounced and enjoyable.
There are some phenolic flavors present, typically for the style. Reminiscent of band-aids and Bactine. Supple citrus notes, mild bitterness.
A solid Hefeweizen, refreshing and crushable.

12 ounce bottle, no dating I noticed on it. Purchased at the brewery hanging out with Brutaltruth a few weeks ago! Served in a pint glass, the beer pours a slightly hazy gold color with about an inch white head that stuck around for a while. There's a decent amount of lacing. The brew smells like wheat/grainy malt, blood orange, clove and banana. Taste is pretty much just like the aroma. Mouthfeel/body is light, it's easy to drink with a good amount of carbonation. I thought it was an OK overall brew, worth trying if you're ever at the brewery.
