Another single (can as pictured above) from the bargain bin at the local liquor store. The label says "Blonde Beer" - Blonde or bland? we will see.
Pours a pale, thin yellow color, decent white head, but no retention or lace. Slightly sour grainy smell. The taste has some malt and grass, but not overly adjunct-sweet. A bit of metallic aftertaste. Very basic macro lager in body and mouthfeel. Another average yellow beer to keep on ice in the cooler for a hot afternoon.

I was kind of sad last year when the supply of PBR ran out in BC but weirdly this Quebec beer shows up at a low price and tastes just like PBR. Very pale in colour and light in taste I have to say that the drynes to the finish and the clean mid body make this a decent lawnmower beer. I might drink this in the heat of summer

Presentation: 355ml can.
Appearance: Pale straw color.
Smell: Somewhat fruity , somewhat chemical.
Taste: Interesting for a cheap-priced adjunct lager, but I hate that metallic taste. Also, it is unbalanced taste. Sometime, it is watery and next time, very bitter.
Mouthfeel: Compared to the blue can (Double dry) sister, Original lager got a stronger aftertaste bitterness and thanks god, it continue to be fizzy (high carbonation) 'til the can is empty.
Drinkability: Excellent, if you want something cheap-priced (USD 1.00 / CAD 1,25 per can or CAD ±7.00 per 6 pack) to get loaded fast, but not exactly a premium quality product.
