Smells a touch overly sweet, with notes of honey and caramel from the malt base, and restrained notes of hatch chilies.
On the palate, it's more balanced, and while the chilies take a moment to be introduced, they impart a lovely vegetal pepper flavor, and mild but noticeable heat.
Not a tough pepper beer to drink, but should still satisfy pepper fans.

From a 16 oz. can acquired at the brewery on March 28, 2022.
The appearance is light to medium amber with a short-lived off-whit head. Modest clarity.
The aroma is more like a traditional amber ale with its caramel and toff3e malt forward notes, breadiness, and floral aspects. The chili seems more muted.
The mouthfeel is medium.
Sweet and caramel malt forward flavor but I do pick up the chilis in the taste right away. Even a bit of lingering peppery notes at the end. But generally on the sweet side.
