First review of a beer that's been on the BA database since 2019. Pint pour on draught at the brewery. Served in a shaker glass. It pours a pretty magenta color with red hues and it sports almost a finger of creamy, light khaki-colored head and soapy lacing. The nose is subdued with the smells of roasted malt and caramel. Its flavor balances caramel malt and rye cracker. What sets it apart is the bitterness of the Cascade hops. For an Irish Red it as attitude. There is also the smallest hint of chocolate that emerges as it warms. The mouth feel is impressive. For a 4.2% ale it's remarkably thick and creamy. Overall, Ireland Corners is quirky in a good way. I don't think I've ever had such a hoppy, bitter, Irish Red Ale. I enjoyed it.
