Hold Up, Slow Down Strawberry

this is a version of their kettle sour that has some strawberries in it. not sure it still has the lemon, i think they substituted out the latter for the former, but it works, jammy and natural at the same time, responding well to the acidity, and while this one wasnt on nitro like the original, i still think the texture is as good as the flavor, these guys really are killing it across their entire portfolio, if you arent already, get hip to it, because rockwell is for real! the strawberry gives this just a little bit of a pink color, and a sweet, floral aroma that remind me of hibiscus and vanilla and rose petal, really pretty layered for a simple kettle sour type, if thats in fact how this is made. it has a clean ferment to it, drier even with the berries and only so tart, like its still clean and drinkable for more than one, fruity not not overly so, i wish for the lemon of the original as well though too, to sort of balance the strawberry, if its here its mild, but this fizzes like soda, has some nuance, and overall is another unique beer from these guys. i like the more wild stuff a little better, but there is little to complain about here. a sour anyone who digs the style should love. rockwell rocks.
