I brought a tall boy can of this beer home from the brewery whilst there for work. It poured an opaque dark amber with thin tan ring head and no lace. The scent had dark chocolate notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with semi sweet dark chocolate malt base with vanilla and subtle dark fruit presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.

 

 

 

 

16oz can. Poured out an opaque, jet-black color with a small, light brown head of foam. It smelled of chocolate, toffee and coffee. Sweet chocolate taste with roasted coffee and malt.
