Grapefruit Gose
After souring the wort with a blend of lactobacillus strains, we added a veritable pantload of fresh grapefruit zest and juice to the whirlpool and fermented it with our favorite Kveik strain. Spiced in the kettle with a touch of Indian green coriander and finished with sea salt, there’s a bright and refreshing combination of citric and lactic acidity complemented by a gentle salinity.

Draft. Hazy yellow. This is not a very tart gose, but very salty. The grapefruit isn't loud by any means, sort of a background note. A slight berry-like flavor.

On draft. Poured out a pale, golden color with orange highlights and a small, white head of foam. It left minimal lacing. It smelled of grapefruit, orange peel and tart lemon. Nice tart taste with lots of grapefruit and citrusy notes. It was crisp, sharp and smooth.
