on tap at the brewery since it's like 3 minutes from my house, 12 oz pour into a fancy tulip glass. crystal clear deep amber brew with a nice lil finger of white foam atop, very nice initially but the head faded away and left no trace. not a single bubble even floated to the top afterwards. aromas of toffee/caramel, lightly toasted malt and a whole lotta clove, cinnamon, and nutmeg on top bring me to the holiday season. the flavor profile follows through with a mildly sweet malt base that blends with a decent breadiness, and a good lingering bitterness/funkiness. a lot of christmas-y spices fill up most of the flavor profile but its comfy. hints of the 7%abv show itself more than expected. its very flat, could use a good dose of carbonation to really boost the whole experience. overall its a tasty brew and made for a good glass with the sleet comin down outside, but not one i'll think about too much

 

16oz can. Poured out a clear, golden amber color with a small, khaki-colored head of bubbly foam. It left sudsy trails of lace on the glass. It smelled of spices, biscuity malt, toffee and caramel. Nice malty taste with some spices, funkiness and caramel.
