Nice straw color with the lightest of haze, head isn't overly impressive, though. The nose on the can pour is similarly light, though what I get is in line with general expectations, with maybe just a hint of orchard fruit. Nice level of carbonation, light-plus heft, and a moderately dry finish. More of a crackery than bready impression from the opening, the carbonation provides some interest until the dry grass with hints dried out citrus rind bitterness comes in back. This grows and though not an overly bitter beer, it finishes nicely on the bitter side well within expectations.
Taster:
They did green food coloring for the weekend, but the clarity and head give me something to go on. The aroma is light, with hints of grain and dry grass. Moderate carbonation with a near dry finish. A bit of grain bread, but more mid-summer grass bitterness that seems to be in the Goldilocks zone for me. Simple, but refreshing.
